Thank you to everyone who came over to the club to enjoy a night of dinner and dancing with the Sammy Davis Band! We had some wonderful compliments and it is our intent to create more exciting events like this one! Don't forget: we are hosting a FREE DRIVE IN MOVIE NIGHT on the #1 fairway on Saturday, April 24th featuring "The Wizard of Oz". We will be erecting a 24-foot movie screen on the cool grass. Bring an appetite and a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a movie under the stars at Wickenburg Country Club! Please tell your neighbors as this is open to the public. Thanks again for your support!

The first Battle of the Sexes is in the books!

Congratulations to the LADIES of Wickenburg Country Club for their impressive win over the men in our first ever Battle of the Sexes! A four-ball match play was contested using a 3-point scoring system: 1 point for the front nine match, 1 point for the back nine match and 1 point for the 18-hole match. Ties received 1/2 point.

Weather conditions has forced us to shorten the Battle of the Sexes to an 18-hole match and it will be played tomorrow morning (Wed. 3/10).

Rain Out - Monday, March 8th

It has been a cRaZy wet winter and this last weekend was no exception! Unfortunately, we will be closed Monday, March 8th for clean up after a very wet Sunday. Thank you for your understanding and we hope to see you bright and early Tuesday morning!

Demo Days

Thank you to those who stopped by for our Ping Demo Day on February 24th! We had a great turn-out and we hope that those who purchased new clubs are realizing success! Don't hesitate to give your professional staff a call if we need to "tweak" things a bit for you. We will be hosting another demo day very soon featuring Nike! More details to come soon...

Also, I would like to thank our golf course supertintendent, Gary Albrecht and his crew for all of the detailing around the golf course. The perimeters and hazards around the course are looking great and we hope that our golfers see a difference! If you like the changes that are taking place, please let us know!

Battle of the Sexes - Are you ready??

Just a reminder that our 1st Annual Battle of the Sexes will begin next Tuesday, March 9th!

It's the men of Wickenburg Country Club versus the ladies! The format is a "four-ball" match over 36-holes. Here is the itinerary:

Tuesday, March 9th

8:00 a.m. - check in and continental breakfast

9:30 a.m. - shotgun start

Wednesday, March 10th

8:00 a.m. - continental breakfast

9:30 a.m. - shotgun start (Final Round)

1:30 p.m. - awards luncheon

Cost: $40 per person
